Radu Cocea

Manager of the firm, Radu Cocea has over 16 years of experience in the insurance business.

Currently, Mr. Cocea focuses on his activity as a lawyer, providing legal asisstance to clients in insurance and litigation matters.

He has a strong background in insurance: he has been advising insurance companies since 1993, occupying management positions for leading insurance companies in Romania:

SC ASIROM ASIGURARI SA (head of legal and litigation department: 1993-2000 and advisor of the president of the company: 2001-2003),
SC ALLIANZ TIRIAC ASIGURARI SA (head of legal department: 2000 - 2001) and
SC AGRAS ASIGURARI SA - GRUP WIENER STADTISCHE (advisor of the president of the company: 2003-2004).

Mr. Cocea's activity also includes occupying senior positions in the main insurance professional bodies in Romania:

vice-president of the National Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies from Romania: 1997-2000
vice-president of the Association for Insurance Law in Romania: 1993-1999 and
Member in the Management Committee of the Auto-Vehicle Insurers in Romania: 1997-2000.

Mr. Cocea has also been a member of the Board of Directors and of the Management Committee of SC ASIROM ASIGURARI SA from 1994 to 2000.

In 2007, he has been appointed by the National Insurance Surveillance Commission to act as the special administrator of SC ARDAF ASIGURARI SA, activity concluded with a 30 million Euro increase for the insurance company.
